The kit includes a Dynasys Dual Band RFID interrogator with built-in HF and LF antennas, power supply, sample HF and LF transponders, application software, and a getting started guide.

The included application software is a Windows compatible application that provides a means to fully demonstrate the functional and performance capabilities of the Dual Band RFID interrogator using both HF and LF transponders.

It allows the execution of the reader’s supported commands such as writing and reading information to and from Tag-it HF, Tag-it HF-I (ISO Compatible), and LF transponders. The application displays and logs transponder data in both hexadecimal and ASCII formats and also displays the data that is sent from the PC to the reader and the data sent from the reader to the PC. The application can be employed to perform reader setup, tuning, diagnosis, and can be used in the initial experimentation and testing of a HF and LF RFID system.

The software also includes comprehensive documentation on the LF microreader, Tag-it, and ISO 15693 protocols. This affords the user who desires to develop their own custom LF or HF application a valuable head-start, as all the required protocol information is included.
